Integritetspolicy

Senast uppdaterad: 19 september 2026

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This policy explains how TestTogether handles information when you use the app and its community features.

1. Local data and technical identity

TestTogether stores local app data on the device, such as settings, recovery data and test timer state. When the community backend is used, a technical TestTogether identity is created for synchronization without manual sign-in or a traditional public profile.

2. Community data

To operate Explore, Test Groups, Rank, reputation, X, verified testing history, deadlines and private feedback, TestTogether may process a technical user identifier, session information and required community data on the server.

3. Public information

Your name and email address are not shown to other participants. If you voluntarily join the leaderboard, a pseudonym, placement and Rank are displayed. Private feedback, chats, exact reputation and other private activity are not public.

4. Feedback and images

Feedback in TestTogether is private between the tester and developer. Text may be stored in the community database and images in private server storage with access limited to the relevant participants.

5. Service providers

TestTogether uses services including Hetzner for server infrastructure, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications and Google Play for app distribution. TestTogether does not sell user data.

6. Push notifications

If push notifications are used, an FCM registration token is sent to the TestTogether backend and linked to the technical session to deliver relevant notifications. Notifications can be disabled in Android.

7. Advertising

TestTogether uses Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) for banner ads. Google may process technical information and device identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Where consent is required, Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used.

8. Google Groups

For closed testing, users may join TestTogether Testers on Google Groups. Google processes membership under its own terms and group administrators may see membership information exposed by Google Groups.

9. Deletion and contact

Local data can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app. For questions, corrections or deletion requests: svenssonlabs@proton.me.
